Position Summary & Purpose:       

The Inventory Specialist - Kidron will be responsible for counting, verifying, recording and reconciling warehouse inventory for the Kidron Warehouse location.  The Inventory Specialist - Kidron will ensure that the Kidron Warehouse inventory is accurate by conducting daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual cycle counts; preparing inventory reports; reporting inventory discrepancies and making appropriate adjustments, research and problem solve any and all inventory issues.  The Inventory Specialist - Kidron is required to obtain and maintain both a Lehman’s forklift and picker-lift certification.  The Inventory Specialist - Kidron will assist the Lehman’s Direct Sales team members in creating a memorable shopping experience by working with all departments in the Dalton, Kidron and Mt. Hope locations to ensure inventory is correct in the Kidron Warehouse location thereby ensuring transfers to the stores and customer orders can be fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner.  This position will normally work M-F 6am-11:30am except as otherwise requested by immediate supervision or as company operations demand.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Count and record warehouse inventory
  • Research and problem solve inventory issues
  • Work with Lehman’s employees from various departments and store locations to maintain up-to-date and correct inventory levels
  • Adjust inventory levels as needed
  • Cycle count warehouse inventory with frequency up to daily counts as needed to maintain accurate inventory
  • Maintain organized workstation and records
  • Maintain a high attention to detail in order to keep accurate records regarding warehouse inventory
  • Ability to learn and operate a Radio Frequency (RF) Scanner for inventory control purposes
  • Work extended shifts during peak season
  • Assist with the order expediting process, particularly through the holiday rush
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Lehman’s Forklift and Picker-Lift License/Certification
  • Ability to understand and follow Lehman’s Safety Regulations
  • Other duties as assigned



  • Minimum of an Eighth (8th) Grade education


  • Minimum experience required for this position is 0-6 months


  • English – must be able to communicate fluently and understand the English language utilizing any and all forms of communication (written, verbal, visual, etc.)
  • Computer Literacy – ability to operate standard Lehman’s computer equipment and software which includes but is not limited to:
    • Email Outlook Exchange
    • Windows Operating System
    • MS Office
    • MS Dynamics AX


  • Must be willing and able to work assigned shift as defined by supervision based on staffing needs
  • Must be able to provide reliable transportation for self to and from assigned worksite(s). Transportation can include but is not limited to self-transport, car-pooling, hired drivers, horse & buggy, bicycle, etc.  Neither Lehman’s nor Lehman’s supervision is responsible for securing or providing reliable transportation for this position.
